Setup
Retrieve your Klaviyo credentials
Setup requires a private API key, commonly beginning with pk_, and the exact identifier of the target list.
- 1In Klaviyo, create a dedicated private API key from account settings with the required profile and list access.
- 2Open the target list in Klaviyo and copy its List ID, which is different from its visible name.
- 3In Wavize, enter the private key and List ID, then choose Profile only or Double opt-in.
- 4Test the connection: Wavize verifies the account and retrieves the list before activation is allowed.

Where can I find the Klaviyo List ID?+
Open the relevant list in Klaviyo and then its settings. Copy the technical list identifier rather than only its visible name.
What is the difference between profile-only and double opt-in?+
Profile-only creates or updates the profile without automatic marketing consent. Double opt-in triggers subscription confirmation for the chosen list.
Is the API key shown after it is saved?+
No. It is encrypted server-side and is not returned to the browser. Enter a new key when you need to replace it.
