Setup

Retrieve your Klaviyo credentials

Setup requires a private API key, commonly beginning with pk_, and the exact identifier of the target list.

  1. 01In Klaviyo, create a dedicated private API key from account settings with the required profile and list access.
  2. 02Open the target list in Klaviyo and copy its List ID, which is different from its visible name.
  3. 03In Wavize, enter the private key and List ID, then choose Profile only or Double opt-in.
  4. 04Test the connection: Wavize verifies the account and retrieves the list before activation is allowed.

Where can I find the Klaviyo List ID?

Open the relevant list in Klaviyo and then its settings. Copy the technical list identifier rather than only its visible name.

What is the difference between profile-only and double opt-in?

Profile-only creates or updates the profile without automatic marketing consent. Double opt-in triggers subscription confirmation for the chosen list.

Is the API key shown after it is saved?

No. It is encrypted server-side and is not returned to the browser. Enter a new key when you need to replace it.
