Use of Wavize (website, platform, API, widgets, integrations) implies acceptance of this Policy.

2. Data collected
Wavize may collect the following categories of data:

- Professional information: company, job title, phone number.
- Usage data: logs, IP address, browser, account configuration.
- Conversation data: messages, metadata, tags, connected channels.
- E-commerce data (if connected): information related to end customers and orders.

- Support data: exchanges with the support team.
- Affiliate data: generated traffic, attributed sales, affiliate identity.

- provide the service (chat, AI, automations, omnichannel, API, integrations);

4. Legal bases for processing
- Performance of a contract (use of Wavize).
- Legitimate interest (service improvement, security, fraud prevention).
- Legal obligations (accounting, retention).
- Consent (marketing communications, non-essential cookies).
5. Data recipients
Data is only accessible to authorised staff at Amplifeo SARL and to its technical processors (hosting, email, payment, API integrations, AI providers).
Data is never sold to third parties.
6. Hosting & data transfers
Data is hosted in the European Union or in countries that ensure an adequate level of protection. When applicable, data transfers are governed by appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) depending on the providers used.
7. Data retention periods
- Account data: for the duration of the use of the service, plus the applicable legal archiving period.
- Billing data: at least 10 years (legal obligation).
- Conversation data: according to the Client’s settings.
- Technical logs: retained for a few months.
- Marketing data: until consent is withdrawn.
8. End-user data
When the Client uses Wavize to manage its own customers: the Client acts as data controller and Amplifeo SARL acts solely as a data processor.
A Data Processing Agreement (DPA) can be provided upon request.
9. Security
Amplifeo SARL implements appropriate technical and organisational security measures, including:
- TLS encryption;
- access and role management;
- regular backups;
- infrastructure monitoring;
- anti-intrusion and anti-fraud protections.
10. AI features and profiling
Some Wavize features rely on artificial intelligence (suggestions, classification, routing, automations, recommendations).
These processes assist human agents but do not, on their own, take decisions that produce legal effects without human intervention.

12. Data via WhatsApp, Messenger, etc.
Using external channels involves additional data collection by those platforms, in accordance with their own privacy policies. Amplifeo SARL cannot be held liable for processing carried out directly by these third-party services.
13. Use by minors
Wavize is a service intended for professional use and is not designed for use by minors.
14. Changes to this Policy
This Policy may be updated at any time. In the event of significant changes, users will be informed by an appropriate means.
