Verified Wavize guide

Create and manage a demo client

Open a client trial account, configure it temporarily and respect its expiry date.

Updated 7 August 2026

A demo client is a real client account with a reserved trial plan

Only partner program can create demos. Wavize uses active plan marked “partner demo,” applies its trial duration and creates a verified-email account with onboarding already completed.

Allowed count comes from partner demo_clients_limit, default fifteen. Every created account consumes limit, even revoked: revoking cuts partner access but does not restore a slot.

No demo billing
Subscription is trial, paid amount zero and source partner_demo. Commission appears only after a later paid subscription.

Create account with correct information

Under Clients, enter first name, last name and an address absent from all client accounts.

  1. Available demo plan

If no active plan is marked demo in admin, creation is refused. Partner does not arbitrarily choose a commercial plan.

  2. Remaining limit

Page shows used, limit and remaining. Once limit is reached, contact administration; local deletion or revocation does not bypass it.

  3. Unique address

Form enforces client-user uniqueness. Use prospect’s real address or controlled test address, never another client’s address.

Understand what Wavize initializes

Transaction creates user, trial subscription and partner relation together.

  • Verified account and terms

Email is marked verified and terms accepted for immediate access. Language inherits partner fr/en, defaulting to French.

  • Onboarding intentionally bypassed

Dashboard opens directly so partner can configure demo. There is no plan selection or payment in wizard.

  • Temporary password

Wavize generates temporary secret, sends email with reset link and does not roll back creation on mail failure. Use Resend credentials when needed.

Temporarily access client dashboard

Access button creates client session and remembers partner for return.

  1. Verify owner and expiry

Wavize rejects another partner’s client, revoked relation or demo past trial_ends_at.

  2. Configure transparently

Use access only for agreed demo. Do not view or export data added by client after handoff without authorization.

  3. Return to partner

Use banner or Return action: Wavize closes client session, clears impersonation and signs program account back in.

Revoke, expire and convert

These three states have different effects.

  • Revoked

Cuts partner impersonation only. Client account and history remain; demo slot remains consumed.

  • Expired

After date, Access denies session and plan features may stop. Client may contact Wavize for a paid plan.

  • Converted to paid

An actually paid subscription counts as partner upgrade and generates commission according to rate, without retroactively turning free trial into revenue.

Correct prospect handoff

Client should control password and understand end date.

  • Email received — Temporary credentials and reset link work.
  • Password changed — Prospect chooses their own secret before real use.
  • Partner access decided — Revoke once configuration service is complete when agreed.
